Soooo... yeah... I see posters of Twilight everywhere. (no longer in my room, Bella started getting a creepy stare. Eesh.) and it really bugs me how they don't even try to capture the whole 'sleepless' look that Stephenie describes in her books, just to make them look better on screen and everything. And for the times I've come across fanart and such, fans tend to take out that detail as well.
--Sure, the way its described in the books seems extreme, but i still like the idea of them looking like they missed a night of sleep or whatever.
But yes! I was just washing my face one evening and glanced up at myself in the mirror and I looked really tired. I couldn't help but think of Vampires and such - so I decided to take a picture. (i have a makeup smear beside one of the eyes... but you can pretend its supposed to be there... >.>

I really hate using myself as a model... so I thickened by eyebrows and adjusted a thing or two to kinda make it look a little less like me. color filters, making the eyes yellow... using a watercolor filter and such.

All I have to say is that this is kinda how I imagine the 'sleepless' look to be, where theres a bit of purple under the eye but it doesn't look like someone caked purple lipstick under the eye or something.
